Hardy Newman has concluded that the major difference between a star and a black hole is the back-and-forth conversion of rich-neutron matter/poor-neutron matter. Black holes either do not spin or spin at an extremely slow angular speed. Meanwhile, stars spin at much faster angular speed and stars are also subject to repulsion field induced internal circulation of matter.
So, is it possible to extinguish the Sun? The answer is theoretically yes. The kind of internal circulation of matter inside the Sun is only the spin-induced internal circulation of matter. If we could stop the spin of the Sun, the spin-induced internal circualtion of matter would also stop, then the Sun would be extinguished. However, it is practically impossible to stop the spin of the Sun.
If the Sun stopped spinning and shining, it would turn into a small black hole. The reverse also holds true. If a black hole spinned at a faster angular speed, it would shine and it would give birth to more stars and even new-born galactic spiral arms from its equator.
The answer to the question in the title is detailed in a video titled "is it possible to extinguish the Sun?" and posted on the Youtube channel: Newman Online College and embedded in this page as follow:
